On Android also, and it does not work as expected. I think we have figured it out. So we wait for the fix.

I appear to be having similar issues to those already reported. Went on to Live chat and got told to post it here. So I am.

On ios and no problems what so ever!

I'm also on android and it does not work correctly for me either, maybe we finally have a answer why it works for some and not others.

I do not have all characters but after going through the same basic procedure as Annette all the characters I have still waiting are on Annettes list...... and guess what.....I am on Android!

so it looks like a glitch for EA to fix..... as long as I know :)

But I have some info on what happens when a character is in the taskbook ... Job Manager doesn't count them in their numbers. That is, I assigned the "144" as they allowed, then I assigned the "2" as they allowed.

Then I clicked on Cletus in the task list ... he was the only character wandering around unassigned. His 12 hour (Dig in the Garbage) was yellow-highlight (because it's in the task list)

Looked through the entire Town Census and the only character showing "Waiting for something to do" is HomerDog.

Pulled 14 characters out of storage ... and the Job Manager showed that I could assign all of them to 1-hour shifts.


So it WORKS! On iOS.

I gave her the tip that lead to the conclusion :)

I didn't have time to read the whole thread, so maybe someone else mentioned it already, but it seems to me that whenever I try to send everyone, none of the kids ever get sent. Perhaps because they don't pay taxes? :P

I'm a little late to this thread, but I've been busy. First I had to catch up on my Railyard crafting to make sure that wasn't part of the problem, then we had to go to the Humane Society and get a new dog to replace the one that (SOB!) disappeared last week because our other dog was So Lonely without his bubba to play with...

As others have stated my iPad game seems to be working fine with the Job Manager. But on my Android game the following characters didn't get assigned 4 hour tasks:

Burns and Marge have pending tasks in the Task Book, so that kinda counts them out.

I don't have the Pet Store, so the Mutant Rabbit and Stampy have no 4 hour task.

Uter simply doesn't have a 4 hour task. They forgot.

Even accounting for the difference in premium characters you can see there's a LOT of differences. So it's apparently random.

They forgot to give Uter a 4 hour task. I even double checked the list lpNintendo made. He's not on there in the 4 hour section.
