I have the same device. I can't recall ever charging it twice in one day so you must be using the battery very very uneconomically or it's faulty. What are your settings, do you mass multitask apps?

it was fine until I downloaded this update. I know I'm playing more than I was but not enough for this. I better check my settings to see if my grandsons have been playing with it!!
