This is getting ridiculous. If there isn't a new update in the next 10 minutes, I am quitting* this game!

I normally don't chime in on these type of heated conversations but, I appreciate the fact that for this game I get to sit back and enjoy my donut purchases, instead of being blatantly ripped off. I know that people who become potential buyers will appreciate the fact that even as a freemium player, the chance to collect a few free donuts is a good thing. I enjoy Tapped Out, but I am not trying to make them rich per say. Too many events causes me a headache, lack of sleep and other issues. So just be glad that Tapped out is not sucking the fun out of you. When an update comes be glad that you already have some currency to get the items you want. :)

well it's going to arrive soon so my question is who do we need to keep free to trigger the event?I try to keep my characters on jobs as I need donuts so don't want them all wandering about earning nothing.

If there no update today I'm going to ask for a refund then I'm quitting haha

Lisa and Homer start most events since they're the first two characters and even brand new players will have them.

So, as we can see, the Feb 17 date applies only to Sweden's release of the game. However that does still fall in line with the game's third anniversary, but only in Sweden. Technically they could release the update anytime between tomorrow and March 1 to fulfill the three year anniversary thing.

It's also important to keep in mind we've gotten no official announcements (though we rarely do) of upcoming updates. We're all just assuming based on the Valentine's mini event ending and the fact it coincides with the game's three year anniversary in Sweden.

So, please, in case we don't recieve an update tomorrow, please keep the whining to a minimum and ideally contained to a single thread. ;)

lol USA got it last, im surprised i thught USA would get it first as its a USA game, like how japan gets all the japenese games first (nintindo mostly) althugh me if i had a tablet when it was first relesed in swedan i woulda just downloaded the sweadan version (i did this with several japenese games)

That's done on purpose, because the USA is potentially (and usually) the biggest market, meaning they want to release it in other countries first as a sort of last phase beta testing, as well as a preview for EA of what to expect in terms of premium purchases, etc.
