Krusty Land

by the sounds of things it seems like Krustyland will have its own land.
so not sure if there will be a way to switch between Springfield and Krustyland or what but you will most likely build the amusement park just like you would your town.
  • I'm probably one of the few people who don't want another map for Krustyland. I'd prefer if they just expand to the east, south or north.

i'm another one, rather have them all in 1 map
  • i would prefer all on one map but i would like it to be a specified area of land that is designated for Krustyland so that way you can't put any items from Krustyland anywhere in your town.

Yea this is what I would want as well. Expand one section of the current map & have designated only for Krustyland & all Krustyland themed items, buildings & whatnot. Sort of like their doing for Squidport
  • Never crossed my mind being on another map....definitely keep to one map & I agree you shouldn't be able to drop the buildings anywhere....

I think simply expanding could start to make things a bit hard to manage. If you look at the size of our buildings now, how big will rides have to be to also fit in scale.

By separating Krustyland, you would give people more flexibility while keeping their core Springfield from becoming too hard to manage. Because what if you decided to MOVE Krustyland? How great would it be to only have to select a Krustyland Gate or "building" and move it once?

I'm actually starting to wonder if Squidport won't be something similiar. There's a task that demands you place the entrance in a spot, and buildings are very clear on where they can and cannot be built. So what if Squidport is EA's way of getting us used to the idea of a seperate map to expand on with new tasks and characters, so that when Krustyland comes we're preparred for that.

Because the next thing could be the Springfield Mall, where you build the mall in Springifeld but then go inside it to add shops and details.

Yes, this would be great. It's really a pain when you have to switch between maps. (That's one of the reasons -- among others -- that I stopped playing Tribez: Too many maps.)

Imo the shuttle bus to and from Krustyland almost guarantees it will be a separate map.

I agree with Shadiest_one. Add in the Krustyland 'debris' and I am willing to bet we will be starting a completely new map, just like we had with our initial Springfield.

This looks like it will be an actual expansion for the game, unlike the prior content updates and events.
  • Don't make it like smurfs village where you buy farmer smurf on main island, and you then have to rebuy him on the other island...
