Land Expansion

It's a good idea but I don't think it will ever happen! :-\

I can play gta (massive map/way more content/coding/graphics...ect) on my phone but tsto can't have more land.....hmmmm interesting...

I would love to see this happen but EA has to fix all the glitches and Lag we have now before we get anymore land. Right now the game would run like a 100 times slower with more lag.

The recent lag which many people are experiencing (including me and I'm using an iPhone 5S) is due to the software glitching out. Has nothing to do with the hardware of the servers.

No it doesn't mean that at all. There can be a number of reasons why the game lags meaning no device or OS is immune from it. To paraphrase, what I think he means, and if so, I must concur, is what he said - that devices running older software, (or hardware such as memory; for prime example), will struggle to render the images. Granted, it would have to be a large percentage of users running such set-ups for developers to justify not expanding the game but as we don't have access to such data as market share and other demographics, we cant possibly know, (without EA breaking their policy of ignoring its users), what the exact reason is. I think we can make an educated guess that there are players of all ages, with older players more likely to have older devices than younger players, which need to be taken into account. Hope that makes sense :)

I do want more land desperately, as I've been playing since the game came out and between collecting all the free stuff and spending lots of money to buy all the premium stuff (even the ridiculously overpriced whale), there is hardly any room left in my town (and I've unlocked all the land). I don't use multiples of buildings (so only one Kwik E Mart, one of each house, etc), I generally keep my buildings somewhat close while keeping it looking good, but after the Christmas, Valentine, and Easter event (and spending hundreds on donuts to get all prizes those those damn chance wheels/boxes), and all the new buildings that I obtained, I literally only have room for 4-6 more buildings.

I would hope releasing more land wouldn't result in a major lag issue for players with older phones, but if so I could see them doing a workaround by only having sections of towns load/appear/render at a time. You're only able to zoom out so much anyway, so say the section of your town, say the center is where your game always starts, that loads first. As you move upwards that section loads in the background and is visible when you move to it. Granted if people zoom all over there town very quickly there may be some lag, but it may be an idea on how to reduce the overall lag for players with older phones, so that we can all get some new land (even if it's only a strip of land).

Yes more land please. If new buildings, etc. are added after updates, we need more land as well.

I'd like to see more land also, just shy of $35,000,000 and nothing to spend it on. Land whould be a great way to spend it down.
