Land Thieves...

I’ve been playing tapped out since the very beginning. Love this game, but recently I am pissed off about not being to buy land like we use to. Every other month we get a new mission, we buy donuts, we buy buildings and characters and we do not have enough land released as it is and now when they finally release it, we can’t buy it anymore. It’s crazy... I’m pissed off about it, we have to now complete missions to earn bonus land? Come on already, what kind of crap is that. To make matters worse, when is the last time they released land in the Richie Rich Springfield? It’s been a long long time. Like a year? I can’t even buy anymore buildings because I don’t have anywhere to put them and it’s getting way too over populated. But meanwhile a ton of land in crusty land going unused because when’s the last time they released a new ride or character for Krustyland! Please, go back to the old way and release more land. Who else feels the way I do.

:| Plenty good & p☆ss☆d here too as expressed on the other threads :|
...some 'sort of new land' is certainly welcome...

  • Can’t fathom out why EA made the decision to lock the land with just the option to unlock when you get the prize.
  • The other odd thing about it is buying the new land was one of the few uses for all the cash that otherwise just keeps piling up. Since it seems that they've been struggling with finding new things for people to burn cash on, I'm kind of surprised they took buying new land for cash out of the game.

I really don’t like the altered gameplay with respect to releasing land plots, but I think I understand why the EA developers have decided to implement it. Those reasons have been rather extensively discussed in the other threads on this topic.

Why would EA be concerned about a subset of users generating large surpluses of igc? All they really care about is how much real money users are spending on the game.

  • I agree, I use my in game cash to farm donuts. But I was always torn between buying a bunch of land or farming donuts. Now I'm spending all my IGC on getting daily donuts. Which is great for NOT spending real money. The only down side is that I have less land to use. So I gotta get creative :)
