i guess i have just played this game long enough to have seen outages before, could have been worse. 1-2 hour outage on a saturday, not end of world

you were planning to get death at the last hour of the event and not be able to a second sooner?

Glad it is working for you. Still no luck for me. Just get a message that says "The EA network could not be reached at this time. Try again later"

"EA Network not available" is the message I get now

have you all tried restarting device or exiting out of game completely? i noticed i got logged out and didnt work, then i re-entered game, clicked the log in button and it worked.

alternate thing to try (i didnt have to but who knows if server specific): if on wifi, try going off wifi for your login...and vice versa

This is the same message I'm getting. I tried a hard reset and even deleted and reinstalled the game on my device but still no luck getting in.

I did the same thing and I can't get in either. Been a long time now. I'm Starting to get annoyed.

I've been locked out for a couple of hours so far. Now I'm getting the EA network is unavailable. Hopefully it's fixed by the time I wake up. It's kind of funny but being locked out of the game even during a event isn't bugging me nearly as much as when the forum was down.

the notifications are set automatic, including the ones you get like "this is in the shop" etc.
