I have three towns and have managed to complete phase two on 2 of the towns only 1 left, so it is possible it but hard work. Of course there are people out there who have completed the phases and have WAY more guns or whatever they should but we wont go there as it would mean mentioning the H word :lol:

Ive been thinking that this has been easier than past events. Longer yes, but overall easier to achieve.

A certain OP doesn't seem to get that idea that's been thrown out here so often that if he wants to pay, he can. :)

So basically, here's the idea. It applies to most freemium games: They pull you into a fully playable game that costs you nothing. But, if you want to get more, then you pay. In general freemium games, that means to do things quicker - build, repair, gather - or to get more items - buildings, characters, cars, warriors. If the game is good enough, people will pay for this stuff. If not, then it'll fail.

Note that the paying thing can be a problem for some people, or their kids.

Last year, or the year before, TSTO made $140 million for EA. It seems to be working well for them. :)

I don't understand the logical progression of your thoughts.

"I don't have enough free time to complete the events" JUMP TO "I want to spend money to play the game!"

I don't see how you think that would solve the problem? You should be asking them to make the event requirements easier.

Besides, as everyone else has said, you CAN speed things up with donuts, so...problem solved?

Uh, it already IS a paid game, if you CHOOSE to.

Those of us who CANNOT CHOOSE to, enjoy the free stuff and don't appreciate all caps headlines suggesting otherwise.

Go ahead and buy donuts, but don't rain on our parade. Thx.

I can see both sides of this. On the one hand, it's true that for a person willing to buy donuts it is a "paid game."

However, it is also sad that the days of just buying a game for a flat, reasonable price are gone. I stopped playing Angry Birds and many other games because even after paying for them, you're still constantly pestered to pay more for lots of random stuff you don't want or need. It is kind of hilarious that you could drop $100 in one shot on Tapped Out and still not even come close to buying every building you want. Whereas you can drop $60 for a PS4 game that's way more intricate (plus packaging), and it's all yours.
