Doesn't this belong in the existing "We Need More Land" thread?
I was thinking that. But this is different. It's not your usual cry for more land, most of us just honestly don't have the room, so Let's leave it here for awhile and see it we can contain it to this one thread. If the land threads start getting out of hand we'll be moving to the sticky thread or locking. Or that's my thought right now. It is our first real crisis land thread. And I'm tired, haven't slept much in two days.- why don't they make 'massive event' that involves Squidport, and then give an additional strip of land going out to sea
- Guess I'll have to cut down a good part of my forest for the new buildings. Quite appropriate since it's for an "evil GMO company"...
- I don't want to cut down my forest anymore, already had to do it twice. And my sub forest has been completely bulldozed, I seriously hope they give us more land, with the amount of stuff that looks like it's gonna contain it seems shocking to not too.
- I barely touched the last strip so I'm good. I do small designs just to cram stuff in though. At this rate I think I'll have to nuke by Halloween though.
- I've been playing since the beginning. I have my buildings and roads clean... side by side. I have most of the items, but I've just hit a wall now. I've been getting creative over the last few updates, but these items are getting HUGE. This event coming down the pipeline bummed me out.
I need to now create an interchangeable patch of land which I can develop, break down, and store on demand.
That seems the best option; bits of my Springfield now needs to be stored.
I know other people must like keeping collections together. You want all the Monroe stuff together, but I find myself placing fragments where I can. - I've made my playground smaller and moved stuff around but think I'll have to move a lot more. Just seen on one of the other sites that there's at least 15 buildings :-o

Yeah Sorry for creating another thread; I'm not a real active forum member.
When I saw this event, with all the buildings and items comings... my mouth dropped a little. I knew I was officially screwed now. For people with really intricate designed Springfield's, this is judgement day.- i just view it as a design challenge and look for ways to consolidate current designs and buildings. I had the same reaction during the super hero event, and actually like my town better now, after editing it for space. I do have a couple areas taking up a lot of space (my beach mansions) but I' m not ready to mess with those. I'll need to start taking a hard look at downsizing my forest area / camp krusty.

Seriously, don't mess with your mansion row, one of my favorite extended designs to visit.
I've got enough boring areas in my town I'm not worried about ripping up a big chunk. I am worried about the time it'll take to build it back up. I sill haven't recovered from the Superhero update.
