Mini event icon question

I’ve completed the mini event and have all the prizes. But the icon in the upper right corner is still there showing that I have completed this part of the story. But showing I still need the bridge. (It’s does not have the check mark ) but the bridge is placed in my town. Anyone know how to clear it?
