I'm a big fan of redesigning in small chunks. Nuking your town is highly time consuming. It's just way too much to rebuild. I have one neighbor that had an amazing town, he nuked and he never got around to finishing it. He was overwhelmed by how long it would take to rebuild it. It's best to just redesign it in small chunks.
Yes, absolutely in small chunks. Come November, I'll have been working on my town for 4 years. I can't see nuking, unless you have a really cruddy town to begin with, and just put buildings where ever, then it might be a good idea to nuke, especially if you want a really nice town. I have a few friends that do just that. Plop a building, right next to the last building. 10 Krusty Burgers, 5000 trees, and everything else in multitudes. I can't see playing like that. Why even bother, if you're not going to design with thought? Oh well, it's not my choice how someone decides to play this game. All I ask of my friends is to visit each day, especially during events. I have quite a few, that don't bother during non events, and that's okay, but come a new event, if someone that previously said they'd be a good neighbor and always visit, then stop during the next event, I wave bye bye, but do give them about a week or two, just in case they can't start right away.
Nicolknappen, thanks for accepting me. Even if you hadn't planned on visiting, I was intrigued to see your town, and I must admit, that not only is your Springfield pretty snappy, Krustyland is impressive too.
