Monster Battles - only two. Am I doing something wrong?

I'm only getting two as well, also, I have not seen this yellow creature that two characters attack at the same time yet... we will see :*

Only getting 2 monsters every 4 hr so only 2 fights at a time except when I first get up in the morning when I have 4 monsters, seriously thinking that this event is going to be a grind all the way through unless numbers are tweaked or more opportunities to earn currency are introduced.

Hmm I have had anywhere between 2 - 6 at a time randomly since the event started. This morning I was given 6 total monsters with one different monster that you could fight with 2 people. I do have Boobarella and space mutant doing "training exercises" so maybe that has something to do with it.
I added Suzanne the witch this morning so I guess I'll see if there is a noticeable change by adding her.

Odd, I have Count Burns, Booberella, Space Mutant and Suzanne also, yet still, 2 fights only. Seems very random! Hmm.. I haven't tried to do battle when all of them are free, I'll have another go tomorrow morning.

I got 3 monsters the first time, but since then I've either been told to wait 4 hours after a fight for more monsters to spawn or I've gotten 2 monsters to fight. I've been leaving all my fighting characters free, but even after I log in in the morning I don't have more than 2 monsters to fight...

I've had six, but it's mostly 2 - 4. Wondering if it's random and the randomizer is just poorly weighted.

I only have 2 monster battles at the moment though I had 4 battles going on at one point yesterday (one was a yellow fire-spitting monster). I've even had 6 monsters - 3 monster battles and 3 'spare' monsters with no characters to fight them.

I had 4-6 last night but only 2 at a time since. And my most recent fight the yellow one finally showed up and I have 2 people fighting it as we speak

If you are regularly fighting the battles without letup, then it's two battle fights. I had a good sleep last night and when I woke up there was 4 battles waiting for me.
