Curious to see if anyone else has run into this. I had to buy the hotel/maze bundle, King has long been my favorite author and it's a classic movie and episode! However, when I tried to place it from storage after purchase, it's invisible! I can see the image when it's in storage, but when placing, the normal translucent image of the building is not there. Just a green rectangle indicating the base (changing to red if it can't be placed somewhere). Once I place it, it's completely invisible, zip, nada, empty space. BUT, in move mode I can select, move, store it, where it is once again showed with the image.Very, very strange. In my 2 1/2 yrs, can't recall this ever happening with any item. Sorry to be long-winded, wanted to describe the issue well! So, am I the only one experiencing this or has anyone else run across this glitch with the hotel or possibly with another item in the past? I know, will probably have to contact EA. *sigh* Thanks for any input!

Panicking. Thanks Armpit, I tried that, also hard closing and shutting down my phone. Hasn't materialized for me! I have it sitting safely (heh) in storage for the time being.

try reinstalling. maybe the file with it got corrupted on downloading ;)

Thanks LPN! I've been busy, haven't been able try it yet, I will in awhile after I reset my kids and fighters. I have an email in to EA, I'll post back with their response and whether or not the reinstall works. I'm surprised no one else here has run into this, at least two other people over at Addicts have said it happened to their hotels too. Maybe my game is jinxed, I never get any of the beneficial glitches, just problems! ;) By the way, I'm here everyday, been a member quite awhile, I just tend to lurk in the shadows. :D

I got the same issue with my hotel being invisible. I totally forgot about it until I accidentally tapped where I had placed it and got the screen showing how much longer till it pays out. Weird!

I don't know an invisible hotel sounds pretty spooky to me, maybe leave it as is? Do us a favor and task Willie there, curious if the animation would show or if Willie was really inside. This would be a first. His task is 4 hours, take an ax to the back, or something similar. Screen cap if anything cool happens.

oh and btw while thinking on this issue it sounds to me more like a patch would needed. There are reports of same thing at help.EA.com as well.

He he, I will try it and see what happens. Pics if it works! Is kinda spooky, a haunted hotel to go with the stable. :o Buuttt, I had plans to spookify myself, so I want to see the frickin frackin thing!

I did do a complete uninstall/reinstall like LPN suggested, no change. I have a feeling too this will need a patch of some kind johncolombo. Was back and forth emailing with customer support last night/early today (3rd shift hrs), and it's pretty clear the rep doesn't play or know the game well. Provided screenshots, succinct explanation, etc, just kept asking basic info of me. Ah well, back at it with them later.

I'm no programmer but for as long as I've been on this forum and playing the game I don't think ea support can help, def sounds like a patch situation. To the people with invisible hotels, did you mess with your mountains when they were storable? We predicted consequences. JUst a guess but wonder if you all have something in common that triggered this.

Well, the Wiilie experiment was a fail for any great pics but it DID make the hotel visible briefly while on task! Once he went inside, it was suddenly visible. I watched for awhile and every time it cycled through its animation, it blinked out for a couple seconds, then came back. Rinse, repeat. Was passed from cust serv to tech support who said he can "def" help. We'll see, not banking on it.

Johncolombo, I have not messed with the mountains, just placed my two tunnels so far and the Simpsons family. Guess I don't fit into the theory!
