You can tap on the Boss Character (claw) or assign the task from individual characters. Some of the superheroes are villains, some are the good guys. Make sure the characters you need are not on other tasks. Do you have all of most of the superheroes?
I'm sure someone else will come by and explain this better than me, but hope that helped a bit.
THANK YOU..... Now I get it.... Just taking longer because it seems that I need donuts to get more of the super heroes.
