Hello Pam! Grammar and parents/parenting rocks!
Qualifier: I have 5 kids of me own runnin' about the place right now. Unfortunately none of them are anywhere close to "grown". *groan* (homophone joke)
LOL! I hear ya! It's a tough job being a parent. Toughest in the world. And FIVE? Wow! VERY brave! My hats off to you.- Hello!
- Thanks James!
Yeah, I've lived with chronic pain & illness for about 25 years now. I have a cousin who lost her leg in a car accident 10 years ago and STILL suffers phantom pain. I myself have it frequently. I get Lumbar Punctures (spinal taps) on a regular basis, (8-30 times a year) and immediately afterwords for about a week, it still feels like I didn't have one. It sucks. You have my respect & prayers.
Thanks for the welcome! - Hi Pam,
Welcome to the forum, glad you're enjoying the game.
Unfortunately there is not a proper EA representation or moderation of the forum, so most of us on the forum are fellow happy tappers doing our best to help each get the most out of the game, so if you have any further questions or need help, I'm certain you'll get some help here as there are some very experienced TSTO players happily chatting away here.
I've got some space in my friends list for both towns I've got on the go, so will send you an invite in the morning, hopefully Origin will be working properly by then.
Ive got loads of cats myself keeping me company whilst tapping away long past bed time and the wife has already turned in a left me tapping away, muttering "that bloody game, you're addicted" so be warned you might get hooked yourself very quickly indeed. julesg007 wrote:

Thanks! I've had some serious issues with adding friends & repeated error messages in the "Origins" section. Is this a known issue?- A warm welcome Pam, the Simpsons tapped out game will be very suitable for you, and it will bring you much joy as you build up your city and see new buildings and characters appear as you progress. Of course you will come across some problems from time to time as you progress, but we are here to help.

Hi Pam. And welcome to the game and forum.
There is a limit of 100 friends. And this causes issues sometimes. When you want to add someone who reached his/her cap, you will get an error message. Something like "Oops, something went wrong". So if you can add some, but others give a problem, the 100 friend cap is most likely the cause. josh4908 wrote:

Hi. Just started yesterday. (At level 7) I'm a married mom with two grown sons, 18 & 23, and have four fur babies, 3 dogs & a cat. I suffer from multiple chronic medical conditions including a rare brain condition called Intracranial Hypertension, which causes my body to produce too much spinal fluid to build up on my brain. This causes severe pain & blindness, just to name a few.
Looking for some friends to play the game with. Would love to chat with everyone, but especially other disabled/chronically ill people like myself. Also other animal lovers...lol. My nic is MamabearPam.
Looking forward to chatting with you all, as well as playing with you.
Have a great day! :)
Now that's a classy add me thread! I'm a single 32 year old. Well 32 in about 10 days. I know what it's like to have a medical condition like that. I was born with cerebral palsy. Thankfully it was a very minor form of it but I had my challenges as a child. I had speech and physical therapy and even through college I had to have additional help with my classes as I had a learning disability along with this. I sometimes find myself suddenly shaking or blacking out but this lasts for just a few seconds at most and thankfully hasn't happened while driving or any other dangerous moment.
I also have scoliosis. I had to see a chiropractor about 7 years ago that straightened me out but I think it's time to head back. I broke my back falling 2 stories when I was 18 and that didn't help.
So um yea I can relate. Welcome to the community
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I actually have scoliosis too! Mine thankfully is only minor, but it's caused me grief. I also have Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue syndrome, severe Arthritis, & other conditions, as well as the IH. I also just found out I may have Lupus as well. But I'm alive & have a wonderful life & family, so I consider myself blessed. I'm sure you understand exactly what I mean. I'm very pleased to meet you. I always find inspiration & strength in others like myself. Thank you again.- To all those who replied....
Thank you for the warm welcome! I'll let you all know up front that I may not be here a lot, as my health makes my life a bit challenging, but I'll do my best. The great thing about apps is I can play them in bed...lol. ;)
I'm also on twitter as @TheRealMrsSudsy if anyone would like to follow/friend me.
Thanks for the info about the issues with the repeated errors & issues adding friends. I'm getting that error all the time though, in the "Origins/Alternate Springfield" area, not just when I'm adding friends. I have nowhere near 100, so if anyone wants to add me, feel free.
Again, thanks for the warm welcome, and a Happy Holidays to everyone!
