New player question

When we're not doing an event that incorporates friend visits it doesn't matter what you tap.
Graffiting the Police Station, Town Hall, Elementary School, and Moe's actually PAYS money to the victim when they clean it up. Those buildings don't earn money otherwise. But beware: it lowers YOUR Righteousness.
My thoughts on this are: if the person has their graffitiable buildings located in or near the landing zone then they're ok with having them tapped. Otherwise avoid them.

The town being vandalised may see its righteousness dropped from five stars to one star suddenly. In my town, I need to put out 30 plus Nero walls to bring back up to five stars after I was vandalised. Before that I only have two walls out. With this drop in righteousness, your multiplier may drop like 0.5% . You can also use training walls to keep righteousness up

I believe if you visit Other Springfield and tap Sideshow Bob enough times you can reduce the training walls needed to keep 5 stars.

I dont know why but I have not seen sideshow Bob in Other Springfield for a few years after he became a character in my town.

He's still there, he always starts out near Sprawlmart. But he doesn't stick around for long. And he takes many routes away.

I disagree with that. In all 3 of my towns I have the 4 graffittiable buildings located conveniently near my landing zone and they get tapped all the time. My Righteousness stays at 5 stars - except when it spontaneously drops to 1 star occasionally which it has done during events when neighbors were UNABLE to tap those 4 buildings. My conclusion: Righteousness just drops at random times.

Do you have training walls and Nero walls helping with the righteousness ? My sudden drops occurred at a state when I only have one training wall and two Nero walls in the town. After I supported it with thirty plus Nero walls, my righteousness never drops anymore. These walls are opportunity costs as I could be placing multipliers .

I have 5 or 6 Training Walls and a couple of Nero Walls - and that's all I'm ever gonna have. Why place a bunch of things that count against my item limit when I don't really need them. The only time I haven't been able to recover my Righteousness within 24 to 36 hours by clearing Graffiti is the time it dropped when no one could graffiti my buildings.
You people worry too much about 5 star ratings. According to what I've read each Composite star (the ones at the top) only gives you a 1% bonus. Pfffft. You can get that from a single Itchy & Scratch Billboard from the Mystery Box.

When you enter the Other Springfield, go to the Sprawl Mart immediately, SSB always starts off in that area, then takes off in a random direction.

Whenever I see that one of my buildings has been vandalized, I immediately stop whatever I am doing, stand up and rapidly spin around ten times (clockwise if I’m in the northern hemisphere, counter-clockwise when in the southern). Then I cluck like a chicken for at least 30 seconds, but for no more than a minute. This ensures that my righteousness rating will not drop as a result of the vandalism. Guaranteed.

Tapping on most buildings resets the collection timer. So for an 8 hour rent, if the person comes back 2 hours after you visit, they'll only have to wait 6 hours before their rent is ready again. All thanks to you!

This is not true for buildings like Channel 6, where the "rent" is started by paying up front. So, I'd say to avoid those buildings if you instead feel helpful.
