- Very true about under used characters at a guess I'd say that I have over a 100 characters that never take part in any event at all and would be great if they had some extra use now and again.
- Right before we hit the final levels roll out, I was thinking they really should start pushing more aspiration buildings like money mountain. The redwood was nice but kind of missed the mark since it used a primary character and didn't give her the extra boost to her skin like money mountain did for Mr. Burns.
But then they gave us the homerlayas and it became the ultimate money pit - using your extra money to level up and complete the homerlayas, and it seemed like it was all we needed.
BUT the homerlayas turned to be enough to keep most players busy but with the present level up system it just lets the hardcore players turn their money into donuts, so maybe more aspiration buildings are the way to go to make players have to pick between bonuts and new buildings/skins.
So I think creating expensive buildings that either come with tasks for higher leveled and lesser used characters or both skins and tasks for the same characters would be the way to go.
For example, a smaller canyon that would cost 10 or 20 million to upgrade that would give premium paying tasks to Lance Murdock.
A mini-krusty film set that gives a new costume and tasks to mr. teeny.
I'd love to see things like this introduced every 3 or 4 months that would make the lesser used characters more interesting while giving us more to do in our towns. simp7fan wrote:
The next Money Mountain or Giant Redwood should require a task performed by each character from all of our 60 levels. We'll still spend money, but I also want these characters to be useful again. Maybe a premium or event slot available to move the thing along with the help of event won characters.
I got the idea from this:MayStella04 wrote:
doesn't even get a superhero in Sequel Squad, or with Crook & Ladder, or the Casino Update, or even the Redwood Update.
Which is a variant of that wish I've seen before of having a specific character be useful again, but why not just do that for the other 40 or so ignored characters? These level-like, finish when you feel like it (i.e. when a newb finally reaches level 60), money sinks could also be a character usefulness-sink.
:)
Marge should really have been used with the Casino event out of those listed. Though she has been a part of other events like Clash of Clans, and I want to say there was at least one Halloween she was a part of (didn't she vacuum ghosts?). She is obviously underused, and really should have more involvement. I'm also surprised Moe is also underutilized as well.
Snake has finally had his due with this Superheroes 2 event.- The reason marge and moe are rarely used in events and if they are its usually late enough into them, is probably because newer players wouldn't unlock them until level 15 and by then the newbies would start having cash flow problems. She definitely deserves atleast a minievent to herself though.
- Snake is level 19 and yet he's right there in this and the previous event. No reason not to give Marge a bone (especially the Casino event). Anyways, that's the other thread from which I got the quote. It's still there...
Thanks everyone. Glad y'all like my idea.Johnny2bd wrote:

Like, a new task for one of our characters every 3 months? A task at one of the inspirationals? aidx1054 wrote:

I see no reason why they can't just make Moe's available during the event. Or at least make Marge available without Moe's.simp7fan wrote:

But he doesn't have a major questline in this event and in the last event it was the final act before he came into action. The point I was trying to make is its the earlier characters (Homer, Lisa, Apu, Ned) that usually kick off the first questline so that new players can get a good start at the event too.
Direwolfs idea of just giving Marge would probably be easiest but would mess up the later level 15 questline and cutscene.- bluntcardNew Traveler
