Nick Delacourt not earning

I've just noticed that although I have both Nick and Al performing on the rock stage my total payout is only 87 cuffs. I can only think that only Al is paying out. Any ideas why Nick isn't earning? Do I have to complete his quest first?

    If you can make play, he pays out.
    Nick alone = 37 (1.5 stars)
    Al alone = 50 (2 stars)
    Nick + Al = 87

    If I put them on a two-player stage it is 137, no matter who has the bonus slot.

    Ok thanks. I thought he wasn't earning but clearly he's just earning less than I thought. Forgot he was still a low rating
