Not getting my "spooktacular" bonus boxes?

Most likely, when you obtained your first bonus box, you were not at 12,000 goo exactly. Sometimes the addition of gremlin goo from neighbors kicks in or you were visiting neighbors where you went above 12,000 goo. When you returned to your Springfield you were awarded the bonus box. But the amount you were above 12,000 goo was NOT applied to the next bonus box. Instead, you start again at zero and work your way up to 2000 goo.

In other words, your total goo may say 22,130, but you could very well be at 0 of 2000 for your next bonus. Does that make sense?

To further clarify, although you hit 20,000 goo, you were still 197 goo shy of that 2000 mark for the bonus. Hence, you received the bonus only when you reached a total of 20,197 goo.

And if it seems odd, I agree - but that's the way it is.

Yeah it happened to me too. Just don't collect that last goo while you are in a friends town, it won't trigger the Spooktacular bonus. Funny, being a social game and all...

I got my goo boxes at exactly 12,000, 14,000, 16,000 and 18,000.

The problem started at 20,000 and has carried over to 22,000, but I still haven't had my last bonus (for 22,000) even though my counter has now reset for my next target.

I currently have 22,477 GOO. My task book says I have 69/2000 for my new target, but I still haven't been awarded my bonus boxes for my last target!

I've seen a few threads about this, so I was kind of worried about it today. I got to my mark for the next box while visiting friends, but I was keeping careful track so I immediately returned to my own town, and the quest box telling me to collect goo opened immediately. It had reset and was reading "0/2000" so I was thinking I'd missed my bonus box somehow and was very sad. However, I closed the task book, and the spooktacular bonus popped up! I was so happy.
Does seem to be a little glitchy since the level update, though.

I had the same problem when I hit 20,000 too. I my counter is off by 220 the amount that my gremlins picked up over night. I would call this just another glitch

But it's not just out of sync - it's skipped me a bonus box! I've collected 2500 GOO without getting my next box! :evil:

Hi Ricky,

Where abouts on that page does one 'file a ticket' It keeps sending me back to the forum or to places where theres nowhere to lodge or type anything...

I've bonused up twice now and NOT received the bonus pop-up. It just shows me the counter in the taskbook has reset. Add to that the game crashes constantly and takes forever to login. I think I'll sit the game out until the next update. Sorry neighbors.
