Not recieved items (Duff beer tree, Christmas LLDonuts) report from support

They're a charming company aren't they!! I still can't get in. Not sure I care any more.

I was wondering, what are the Christmas LL Donuts you are referring to in the title? I got my Duff Beer Tree, but I did not receive the Christmas Gold Mansion skin that was speculated on. I haven't read any other posts or threads that mentioned the Christmas Gold Mansion skin since yesterday. So maybe the skin was never released? Or did I also miss out on the skin (I do own the Gold Mansion already, so was looking forward to this skin). Just wondering because I was locked out of my game for a long period yesterday.

It really depends on how widespread an issue it is. If this is a problem restricted to a small proportion of the player base then a game-wide update is not really required, and will possibly cause more problems than it solves. Dealing with it case-by-case sounds like a sensible response in those circumstances.

The main problem when things like this happen is that we have no idea how widespread the issue is, and probably have an overinflated impression of it, because it will be those who have the problem who come onto the forum and login to post about the fact that they have it and ask for advice from other players.

Those of us not suffering the problem aren't really needed to get involved, beyond suggesting the obvious solutions, as we have no experience of the problem or potential solutions.

I got the tree from Duffman, but I accidentally tapped too quick through the dialogue from Hank Scorpio. Does anyone know what he said, or what the gift was?

Hoping the Gold Manson & secondary prices Christmas stuff will be offered before the end of the event in 18 days.

Now they're saying it's being dealt with on a "case by case basis"?

A few days ago they told me to wait for the game-wide update.......

Can they make up their mind? Can they find their own butt with both hands and a map?

I didn't get the duff tree. How do I contact EA?

I got the tree automatically in my freemium towns (where I don't own Duffman) but my main town had a one-step quest to get it. I was too busy bottling elves to notice what the popup said, but I'm about 99.9% sure I did not get it.

I also sent Hank Scorpio on his quest and completely skipped past his pop-up. WHAT was the prize from him supposed to be? I sure don't see anything in my storage. (Already have the volcano lair Christmas skin from last year, so maybe that was supposed to be what I "won" this year?)
