That will depend hugely on who you ask, for me I'd find it an honour if someone liked something in my town enough to incorporate it into there's. others however would feel te complete opposite because you stole their idea.For me go ahead, just place it im a different section of town with a spin on it to appease everybody.

I don't think its a problem, just make sure if ur gona show it off on here that u got the idea off said user. Just don't copy me and a put the magnifying glass burning the Popsicle tower. That was purely my design :lol: :wink: I kid. But I don't think many would be too upset. Although there was a guy here last year that posted his town, and a neighbours town that was 95% identical lol. He wasn't to impressed with that! :lol:

As long as its not 100% identical in every way &/or you try take credit it for it as your own on any forum. Always give a shoutout to whomever inspired you, not doing this is the same as claiming it as your own, imo.

If someone wanted to copy something from my town then I would want them to ask me for permission. We would then get some sort of contract set up with terms of what they can and cannot copy and if they show it off e.g. on here they must give me recognition.
