That will depend hugely on who you ask, for me I'd find it an honour if someone liked something in my town enough to incorporate it into there's. others however would feel te complete opposite because...

When I was redoing my springfield, i would get the basic idea from someone and then make my own version of
it and sometimes it turned out completely different. I wouldnt mind at all if someone copied part of my town.
I would feel honored that someone liked part of it that much.
I agree totally. I have used other people's designs as inspiration. I wouldn't be interested in copying verbatim because that's weird.
I totally enjoyed the other thread about the copycat btw.
I have given credit to other players when I've ripped off an idea... 8)
