One Million Dollars

I'm afraid I'm a long ways off. At about $150k now. Never been able to resist buying land and decorations long enough to get close to the million mark.

Kudos to those with more will power.
  • It always puzzles me why people save so much cash. If level 24 is released then perhaps a building will be $150-$180k based on trends. Yes the post office was $207 and if another building is offered like that then you may need $300k max at update. Until you complete quests you can't progress to next level and you'll save money in the meantime.
Also remember the Halloween updates were not with cash but treats you had to earn. If the same thing is done for Christmas then why need the cash.
I have about $125k and saving and think I should be Ok with next update as earn about $80k a day.
Rather buy land and play the game of remodeling my town.

I may have to eat my words but seriously folks no glory really in reaching $1 million cash
  • I have double checked with my bank manager and my simpson town has just over 3mill lol ive bought every building & Charactor just saving up to buy all the land in one go :D plus waiting for christmas update which is bound to have expensive buildings. Cant help but to save the dollar.......never know if Homer will blow the town up again lol

I was going to write pretty much the same thing, but you expressed all of it first.

When the Halloween update occurred, all that we needed to buy with cash was the Krabappel apartment building.

Everything else was treat-based, and also quest-driven. Unless you blow through the donuts to speed up time, your city probably generates enough money to get the next item before the previous series of quests finishes.

I've never saved $1,000,000 as I buy land after I bank what I think I'll need for the next building purchase.

If I did have $1,000,000 in the bank, I'd go on a real estate buying splurge.

It would be fun to unlock huge tracts of land all at once.
  • Thats why I'm saving up the doh, just wanna see a mass of green newly bought land....instead of a section at a time lol
  • would look cool to have all that space :D Although seeing all that money i saved up go within seconds will be a shame lol Then it be time for a total re design of my town :D
  • I got to just under 800,000 and went on a big expanding spree, but am in the 700k range again now. Expecting whatever the new buildings are to be in the 150,000+ range so should be plenty. Yet I wouldnt be surprised to see overpriced decorations too so I'm just saving for now...
