- what was the signal we used in COC to let people know we weren't defending? Xmas lights? Maybe if we're not upgrading we should turn on x-mas lights, upgrading lights off?
EDIT: or stadium light on not upgrading off upgrading since I would assume it's at your landing zone with the field? johncolombo wrote:

Thanks to the visible star system, should be obvious to note people who either aren't upgrading... or simply aren't playing.Arbok9782 wrote:

Sometimes I don't see the stars, not sure why. If I'm not paying attention of not.
does it show the star rating in random?johncolombo wrote:

Word is that for random you see the star rating of their town (!) before you start the match. Silly if true.
I don't play random. I don't need to. I can see why people who do not have other options would want to.JimJ321 wrote:

To all my neigbourinos, I'm not upgrading so if you want easy wins just drop on by. :D
What a kind gesture tapper, but I am worried as to who you don't want to upgrade? Is everything OK???
I'd rather save my game $$$'s for event stadium purchases, also if we're all 5-star the game will come down to the toss of a coin every time - A few notes...
- If everyone was n-star then it would be a coin toss, except for the tonic. n = 1,2,3,4,5
- The way the payout is, if you are less than 3.5 you want to lose to a 5-star difficulty match and get 22/90. If you are 3.5 or more then you get the max by winning a match that is rated .5 less. Example: If you are 3.5 and win a 3.0 difficulty match then the payout is 22/100. But if you are 3.5 and win against a 1-star difficulty match, the payout is only 14/80. If you are 5-star and win a 4.5 difficulty match, the payout is 28/115. The table is in the strategy thread.
Of course you want to get your first-win-of-the-day because that is 75 / 150. And if the daily task is to win some number of games, then you probably want to do that for the 800 finger bonus. Neglecterino wrote:
By the way, I think the first-win-of-the-day bonus goes away after you get the Burns' skin.
I have had the burns skin since day one and I have still been able to get the bonusaidx1054 wrote:

Hmmm. You are talking about the Brockman first win of the day bonus, right?
Never mind! I forgot about the 1-star difference. Doh!
From the strategy thread...
Winning one Tap Ball game per day (even if it's a lower level opponent) will give you a Daily Win Bonus (although there seems to be a one star difference requirement for this.Neglecterino wrote:

Check out the very first post in this thread. Great stuff there.

I played again, made sure my team was 1 star above the team I played, and got the bonus.
