If day-night mode was previously added and the unemployment office wasn't, op would be complaining about not having innovation to send characters, and dismissing. The logic of this post is extremely flawed. While I would love to have a usable inventory, if they did improve it, it would not be an innovation, it would be, as you put it, a "quality of life improvement."
