Optimizing Santa coins

I don't think we're even halfway through this update and all I have left to get is SLH, and I don't even have 100 friends. I do have 60+ though so if I visit a town and only the Simpsons house is available to tap, then I tap that and vandalise 2 buildings or tap any buildings that are available. With over 60 friends I can afford to let the odd Santa coin go amiss here and there, like I said I doubt it will take me over 2 weeks to collect enough coins of just SLH, I'll probably have enough in a few days.

I'm not implementing house farms for anyone. It's my Springfield not yours. If you want to do it in your Springfield then fine but you ant make others conform to how you want to play. So what if you can only tap the Springfield house, vandalise a building for them or something instead. Any of my friends who go by your logic are welcome to delete me cause they're not the kind of friends I want to have. I want ones who appreciate my Springfield for what it is and in return I do the same to theirs.
  • I feel the same frustration. I leave 3 houses uncollected for people to tap and leave which happens to be right next to the spawn screen.

I have one person on my friends list that has a massive Springfield, tons of Brown Houses but only 1 is decorated and it's in the very corner hidden between other non decorated Brown Houses.
  • That was the thing I forgot. It was kind of a pain to find the brown house with the coin but today it had all of my houses with a coin. So please also make sure you turn on all houses to Christmas houses. I also find Its easy to accidentally turn off a Xmas house which resets the timer. I'm goin to build a second of all the houses it lets me to minimize this problem.
I'm not saying you have to do this. Just saying its the easiest way to farm springfields for coins. Many of my friends don't have multiple houses or in the center but with simpsons house brown house and Flanders I can get what I want. I have many friends some low levels. I think I'm friends with an 8 but he always has what I'm looking for. There are plenty of people out there so if u want to vandalize people ok. I built the 100 brown houses early on to get quick money when I want to bungle play and get lots of cash in an hour. But for me, I don't visit friends springfields except during these holiday specials that give u bonuses daily. During downtimes I'll visit some and only vandalize. I'm sitting on a large stockpile of cash and Xp is a joke to me. This is more for the veteran players who want to finish the update and get back to just earning $.
Btw I think slh is the end of the update. I assume Lisa will play with er funzos thing but I hate things that just run around with no purpose like the burns head evil krusty.
Seems like I've been playing this over a year now tho I don't recall when the game came out. I do recall the 2+ weeks the game was completely down. Just talking to players who want a quick experience and wait for the next level. Geez it'd be nice if they'd have multi level updates eh but it's a free game so I'm not gonna complain bout that aspect. Sorry if u feel I wasted a forum topic.
  • Totally appreciate your point and in honesty I hadnt thought about not collecting on all my houses - BUT its no big deal.

On plenty of friends games i visit there isnt any Christmas houses ready to collect, so I simply go out, come back in a few seconds later and the Simpsons house is normally ready to collect. If thats the only one, well no travesty it refreshes every 45secs

I dont see it as an issue really
  • I agree. I hadn't thought about not hitting all my brown houses til I realized others could collect Santa coins from them. It's just a pain to go out and come back. Especially with this spotty play. Today I've been only been able to collect from 3-4 springfields Beforw it crashes. I understand the need for cash. The hospital cost quite a bit of money and I used to need that money. Just aspiring for a higher standard. I'm on a mission to civilize lol. But this was a drunkedly rant mainly caused by being pissed my game was crashing and coming across towns where I couldn't find a Xmas house

Wait, one time when I tapped on a brown house in a friend's town that wasn't decorated, but there was another brown house that was decorated, it still gave me a Santa Coin. It didn't work for you?

Yup, I was going to say that too...if at least one house (of a particular type) is decorated, tapping even the non-decorated ones will get you a coin. Nice thing to figure out!
