Osaka Flu?

my screen says infection severity 42/100 and 2.63 % of the world has been infected. I've only seen the infection once.
EDIT went up to 2.64 and I did nothing.

Everytime you clear a tap in your own town it goes up one. When you reach level 2 a pop-up will say you have the flu (again). It will then take you to the flu virus that is floating around town. Tapping it just brings up the world map again. Sorry to hear you're infected. I wanted to be the one to give it to you :p

As soon as I just logged in. the first tourist gave me the flu.

Is this an ever body playing task, a just me task, or just between my neighbors and I task? Hopefully its an every body playing task or I'm going to need new neighbors. Most of mine aren't playing anymore. I need to give them the boot and get new ones.

The first may refer to how many of your friends have been infected.

The second could be the entire Tapped Out community. I think they did this before and had to patch fix it towards the end. Sounds familiar ?

You get an extra 10 pins and an extra 5 credits if you tap a tourist that is infected. They have the virus cloud on them if infected. Had it happen twice today.

Mine states 103/200 (I'm on level 2). So it can't be number of friends infected because I only have 100 unless I'm misunderstanding you.

maybe it's each time you spread it to a freind and you can spread it more than once to same town?

I answered this earlier, your number goes up from the taps you're clearing in your own town. I'm almost to level 3.

Example- let's say my number is 67/100. John visits me. John taps 3 things. I clear John's 3 taps. My number is now 70/100.
