It's been winter for so long that I've practically forgotten that I have tattoos. Ugh.
haha! Love it!!
As we're all sharing, I have 15 plus a half sleeve that goes onto my chest, pretty much my whole chest / stomach is covered! Had near 100 hours of tats, a lot of them free as I have several tattooist friends! 8)
Here's my latest, Bane on my thigh... what do you think? (I appreciate it's not to everyone's tastes, but this was my mates first ever colour portrait - impressive I think!)
.... You sir are a better batman fan than me, I tip my hat off to you as a sign of how awesome you are ;)

haha! Thanks! I'll update this when I get Batman and the Joker next to Bane! (My mrs won't let me getCatwoman... :( lol)- crazy pic of tat I seen of the Simpsons
http://www.wired.com/images_blogs/underwire/2010/01/simpsons_tattoo.jpg - Got one on my shoulder.
- Haha yeah, I absolutely love them, I love the art and the whole background to it :-)
- Me personal take on getting a tattoo is..
If you get one.. It should have a personal meaning for you..Have a story to it..have it perhaps, symbolize something for you..
Because once you decide to get it.. It is basically permanent on you..(ie.. i realize they can be removed or changed but it is bothersome & difficult to say the least)
Names in general are typically not a good idea unless they are your kids names..
But overall..get one..Make it personal to yourself & more than likely, you will never regret it..!!
Personally speaking..My story & meaning..my tat is my "divorce dragon"
i got my only tattoo after I got divorced..it was a Chinese dragon with the ying & yang symbol as its heart..
put-on my right arm..
I was born in the year of the dragon & the ying & yang represented my quest for balance in my life at the time after my divorce..!!
Now after almost 15 yrs I am considering perhaps another tattoo sleeve on my left arm now (symmetry)
Of what exactly..that is my personal dilemma at the moment..
FYI.. My ex saw my tattoo a fews years afterwards & jokingly said we might not have gotten divorced if I had that tattoo..??
Then I explained the story & she jus giggled..
Good thing I didn't get the "bugs bunny drinking w the beer mug" tattoo instead..hehe..!!??!! - I was at the Laneway Festival in Melbourne few weeks ago watching The Men (great New York band) and my brother pointed out that this dude standing in front of us had a Hank Scorpio tatt on the back of his calf. (Classic pose - see the link - I love that he does this in the game too)

Needless to say although we were surrounded by plenty of hipsters and posers we voted this guy was hands down the coolest guy there!
Toto - Each to their own on why you get them, I only have one with no meaning and that's a coi on my leg, i just always wanted a coi after watching Miami Ink with Ami James (I love all the Miami, LA, NY, London inks etc.)
But I think the ones that mean something will always be the best :-) - I have six and they all have special meaning and no I didn't get them just to show them off to you and have you comment on them because I don't give a rat's * about your opinion on my body. Anyway, I love them well done and well placed especially on a hot guy (yum.) The only thing I hate is that inevitable judgmental * in the room who has to speak up in a whiny little voice to utter the most ridiculous statement there is: "I'm the only real rebel here because I'm the only one without a tattoo." Seriously, STFU.
- Love my ink.. I find girls find them much less painfull.. Ive got 2 oranges and 1 yellow from the chart on page 1 haha.. And waiting to get my 4th next month can't wait!!! :D

I don't have any. I've always kinda wanted one, but could never think of any art piece I'd want on my body forever.
