Don't think I could live some where that cold that it snows. I like it hot in Adelaide to day it was 41 degrees celcius that's 105 Fahrenheit that's what I'm talking about. But that's not to say a snowy vacation wouldn't be nice. I all ways wanted to build a snow man.

We are well equipped for it though, roads are cleared fairly quickly. We should get around 6 inches, really not all that much. We've gotten over a foot in prior years and we almost always get Easter Snow.I like the different seasons, fall is my absolute favorite. People come from all over to see the leaves changing colors. We are going sledding and snowball fights tomorrow. Can't wait! Our neighborhood has a massive hill that ends in an empty lot. All the kids bust out the sleds and ski pants/snow suits and spend the entire day sledding. Such fun. It's been raining since last Friday! Seriously, I was really considering building an ark. Good thing it wasn't cold or we'd be digging out of some serious snow.

Oh joy!! Snow....meant to be snowing from 11am tomorrow till monday but could be longer :( I hate the snow on a weekend, dont mind it at the weekend when i dont have to drive somewhere lol Shame it cant snow tonight and snow me in so i dont have to go to work :D

I do like the sound of a white Easter though. Easter here falls in the middle of autumn.

Its meant to start snowing here tonight too. Its exciting for about 10 minutes until you go outside, fall on your *, come back inside and realise all your pipes are frozen and your water supply is limited.We don't get enough snow here for it to be enjoyable but we get just about enough to cause a nuisance.

LOL my husband grew up in Iowa Park and my brother moved from Louisiana to Fort Stockton. They get snow. My brother had a white Christmas.

I was born in Texas. I remember one dusting of snow we got when I was three.

We moved to New York when I was 10 and now I get snow every year. That was a long time ago as I am in my 40s now. Have to say though, the last couple of years has seen smaller amounts of snow. The effects of Global Warming, perhaps.

I heard this morning it was going to snow tomorrow around 11ish then i heard NO it going to snow tonight i dont know what to believe lol All i hope is that it is that bad i wont be able to go to work tomorrow or monday......extra long weekend oh yeah :mrgreen:

We've been in the 80s, here in central FL, for the past 10 days, so the cold front that arrived today was most welcome. Our high tomorrow is plunging to a frigid 68, and it'll be in the chilly 70s for several days after that.

I almost always keep the news on for background noise when at home, and my head popped up when I overheard this today: "Snow... in Florida? Stay tuned to hear this after the break."

I closed my iPad and turned up the volume to the t.v. After several crappy fluff segments and two more commercial breaks, the piece I had been waiting for finally came on.

"Snow, in Florida," queried the newsman, "Not today, but it has happened twice before in the past, the last time in 1969. In other news..."

Yeah, I hate this state.

LOL if you turn on the Weather Channel they are showing North Carolina being pelted by the winter storm (the one headed my way tonight). You could just take a little trip north to see some snow?

1 foot?!?! Wait....they were calling for 2 - 6 inches but now they've jumped us up to 1 foot.

Woohooo.....oh yeah, people are so getting snow bombed tomorrow. Epic snow ball battle to commence soon as the sun rises.

Yeah i heard we getting anywhere from 20cm to 30cm which means it bound to be more than that!! I've got one of the lads picking me up for work tomorrow save me driving in ;) but here is the "Master Plan" with my car parked up if it does snow really bad come monday i wont be able to get the car out and will have to work from home! ;) hahaha lol
