Otto, Luann or Akira

All of these are good buys. I'm a bit partial to Luanne because she gets a massive set of questlines, but Otto is good too, and if you want him to complete your Springfield heights collection, then you might as well go for it.

I find Otto the most fun and versatile for daily play. Once Luanne's quests are done she doesn't have much that appeals to me (hate her 24 hour task), but to each his own. I don't know if her Halloween costume task is still available, maybe not until next Halloween.

Luann defending SF with the rifle is a sight to behold but so is Otto jamming on the guitar for 4 hrs. Akira doesn't do much but his building is really neat and you get the bonsai crafting option.
I voted Otto but it's a tough choice.
For me it would be between Otto and Luann

I really like Akira, love the production of unlimited bonsai and sushi! :P

When she starts, you get a quest line involving Milhouse. Then after that, you get another one involving Kirk. Then after that, there is one involving the investorettes (minus Helen who was not in the game when Luanne was added). Then there is another one involving the investorettes, this time with Helen.

When people ask this type of question I always say Luann Van Houten, ......she has the investorettes questline which unlocks the ability to have fleet-a-pita vans in your town AND Krustyland. She also unlocks an 8 hour premium task for Kirk. Some of her tasks have the best animations....mega-globe and jacuzzi suit

This was one of my favourite episodes and I'm still waiting for Marge's car with the Pretzel Wagon skin, and the astrowagon that Mr.Burns wins at the baseball game 8)

Otto only makes chairs in SH, so don't buy him just for that reason. I do like him though.
Luann's quest line is quite good and some nice visual tasks.
It also depends on how much in game money you need. Akira has a task called 'Fuguaboutit part 1'. If you do not complete Akira's task, you can keep sending most of your characters to do the other part of the quest line over and over again for 1 hour, but it pays out premium rate as it takes place in a premium building. I still use this in my 2 towns. It's also a very reasonable amount of donuts for a character and building combo.

I would say Akira for this reason^^^

Grinding 1 hour tasks has been tedious for me to earn enough money for the land expansions. But this helps a lot. Setting the task is easy with the job manager and collecting is easy because you just have to tap on one building. But yeah, if money isn't an issue my order would be Otto, Akira, Luann, cause otto and the bus are 2 cool for school
