I don't see any grass in front of the pet shop. Are you confusing it with some other building?

Can you place it right next to a road, touching the pavement?- I see what you are saying now. I had pavement under mine but when I move it to grass a small area shows up in front of it.

- The object's area is slightly larger than the building itself and it's see through so you can't place it against a road without seeing a strip of grass (if you have grass under it) in front of it. I just placed mine on a pavement square so it looks fine. It does prevent you from placing flowers or bushes right up against the front or side wall if you want to do that.
