play for yourself plus good etiquette

That's what I needed to know. Also spreading the nerds = more different buildings every day = your entire friend list can benefit of the full 5 attacks and gain more stuff when defending. Be good and use one nerd.
  • The guy at TSTOgame.com said you get a lot more gold and elixir for attacking random towns (and winning) than friend towns.

    Here's his numbers:
    Attacking a random town

Win vs. castle: 140 elixir, 50 gold
Lose vs. castle: 10 elixir, 2 gold
Win vs. house: 70 elixir, 25 gold
Lose vs. house: 5 elixir, 1 gold

    Attacking a friend’s town

Win vs. castle: 25 elixir, 10 gold
Lose vs. castle: 10 elixir, 2 gold
Win vs. house: 18 elixir, 8 gold
Lose vs. house: 5 elixir, 1 gold

Great post! I'm going to adapt my "strategy" (or lack of)

With almost 48 days I don't see a way we can't make the goals, even with the laziest of attempts.
  • I knew it was more but not that much more. The loss is still the same as a friends loss. The big question is how often you can win at the random town.

I would just assume play with and help friends. Unless you can win a fair amount of the time... then i might split it a little

Until I find a good way to win battles on random towns I'll stick to losing, the payouts are the same between friends and randoms. All red dices will go on random castles of course.
