Wish they would have mentioned it. Really wish I could go back and purchase the land.
It's the kind of thing that makes you wish EA would give players a heads up. Just a nudge, just a little cough, maybe a sly wink. Not the end of the world but it still doesn't seem like too much to ask.
I totally agree with this sentiment. I feel like I got robbed, because I had ample resources to buy the available land."girl22721;c-1953996" wrote:
I've now also moved around 200 itchy & scratchy billboards to Krustyland which will hopefully improve payouts (but not Sideshow You presumably) as my multiplier there was only 4% previously. Somewhat inconveniently, I could group-store these multiplier items in Springfield but couldn't group-place them in Krustyland (whenever trying to do so, the game took me to an unusable void), so had to split them up and place them individually. Maybe there are better multiplier items for Krustyland than I&S billboards?
I don't know exactly how much time there is left in Act 1 before the forced nuke as the timer doesn't seem to reappear for those of us holding off nuking? I think we have up to 5 days, ending on June 4th.
Tickets arnt affected by the bonus percentage. Just XP. The amount of visitors you get depends on how many stars you have. Only way to increase the amount you get.- I got 100 tokens since i had all the land in Krustyland but now that I’m using them in Springfield , I don’t understand the configuration. I have purchased a big batch under the mountains that back went across far but only about 3 squares deep. Then for some reason the next row doesn’t extend as far out as the top batch so I get an L shaped parcel. In other words the sides don’t match up. Sorry if I’m not explaining it properly but I’m wondering if others have this too?
- the new land is on the side opposite the water (adjacent to the new land given to us for this event), and if i'm not mistaken, it's 7 x 30 for a total of 210 land tiles.

Okay, I can see that but the top patch ( opposite the water under the mountains) actually extends further than 7 squares....it’s more like 11 squares acrross and that’s for about 4 rows deep. So that patch extends further than the 7 rows across that all the other rows do. That’s where it sort of extends out and then it cuts back in for the 7 rows. Ugh...I’ll see if I can figure out how to post a photo."hatchet669;c-1954101" wrote:

That explains why I was receiving a small number of bonus tickets, but not as many as my Krustyland percentage would've suggested, e.g. rushing Krustyland Burger was paying out 42 tickets instead of 40 for a "multiplier" over 200%, so yeah looks like it was only counting the 4% conformity aspect.
I soon became frustrated with the all-too-often low payouts from Sideshow You, so switched to rushing premium buildings instead, which seemed to offer improved value and a reliable return, e.g. 94 tickets per 6 donuts.
However, I then discovered a much much better solution for converting donuts to tickets - the Laffy Meal, which costs 25 donuts and awards at least 1,000 tickets almost every time. It frequently pays out more than 1,000 tickets - the prize can be as many as 3,000 tickets!
Thanks to the Laffy Meal, I've now been able to buy almost all the land squares in Krustyland. Spent around 3,500 donuts so far and just 4 land squares to go, so after another 20ish minutes generating more donuts, I should be able to acquire all the remaining squares and then be ready to nuke Krustyland!
It's very noticeable that Krustyland is taking a lot longer to load now that I have so much more land than I did previously, even though most of it is empty or just contains a little debris. It used to load really quickly and I liked that, but can better understand why other players disliked it, if they were having to wait so long for it to load whenever they visited Krustyland!- How do you buy the Laffy Meal?

It seems to have been discontinued after Krustyland has been nuked.

I haven’t nuked yet (still trying to chip away free tokens - thanks for this thread) but I don’t see the Laffy Meal in the store. Does anyone else still have it? I wonder if an update got rid of it?
It should be in the Store (check the Premium Item Category) when you visit KL.

This morning before I nuked Krustyland, I converted the remaining tickets to cash because I mistakenly thought that they would go away or become useless. Then I found out that I could still use them to buy items in the store. Now I will have to use donuts! Doh!!! :s
LOL, cash!
Sorry for your loss. I have around 385,000. Gonna buy a lot of walls I guess.
