I think neighbors can spy on any building. It leaves a little floating pyramid, and I think the sooner you tap that, the more you get from it.

Yes, they can click a building regardless of whether it's ready for collection. So the aim, as Neuroheart said, is to tap the buildings as soon after they do it as you can.

Whoa! Okay, this sounds to good to be true that we don't need to clear our towns... Or am I completely missing something?Scenario: Annette has blue house.Annette clears dollar sign (collects standard rent) from said house.Five minutes later, neuroheart visits Annette's town and sees spy camera over that house (right?)Neuroheart taps the camera, leaving a pyramid in its place.Sandwegeking visits Annette's town before Annette clears the pyramid..... And ... Then. What?Will sandwedgeking also see a camera? If so, and if sandwedgeking taps said camera, does Annette only collect emblems once even though two people tapped it? Is this why Annette should clear her pyramids? Or is sh clearing it so sandwedgeking (and others) will have enough to tap on?Help!

You need to clear the pyramid before the next person can spy on the same building. But it's just not reliant on the building having a cash payment ready. :)

So yeah, Annette should clear her pyramids. (Also, when she clears her pyramids, she'll get emblems, so there's also that.)

When you spy on friends buildings, do you get emblems to? I've spied on them several times and I haven't received anything but money, XP and friend points

Same here I guess they just haven't completed Homer's four hour task, tapped five houses and sent a kid to get a squishee yet.

If they have cameras over the buildings, you'll get emblems, but if it just has the usual money signs then they haven't got that far in the quest yet so you'll just get money and FP as usual.

This might be slightly off topic but I was only able to visit 10 neighbors before I got a message saying 0 emblems for zero actions. Yesterday I did get rid of inactive neighbors and I add new neighbors. but I hadn't visited the inactive neighbors and I added a lot of new neighbors because I was well below 100. I'm hoping to be able to visit more than 10 neighbors each 24 hours.

Give them a day to catch up, or even a few hours! I'm in the UK and I didn't rush mine so I only got to the stage where you could collect stuff from friends an hour ago!

If a neighbor visits and leaves pyramids for you to collect, the value of the pyramid will decrease down to NO emblems if you aren't quick enough to collect it. I left one over night to see and it had no value in the morning. It starts off at 5 emblems per pyramid. My rough guess is that it drops one emblem in value per hour until it has no value and then turns into a handshake.
Actually, loving this idea. It gets me into the game much more and is SOOOOOO much better than the chance boxes and wheel spins!
