Only character and building combo I really would want is Frink or Duffman, which I think would be unattainable in the time frame I'm keeping in mind.
Dr Nick is one of my favs and one of the few Hispanic characters so that's part of the reason I'm leaning towards him or BB man.
Edit: Up to 68 now after mystery box and cleaning up a bunch of trash.
