Question For Super Premium Tappers

I have pretty much everything premium excluding some permament buildings and coc, stonecutters ans easter event items (inactive at the time). Here's my list:

-Unfinished shed with Chester Dupree
Doesnt look that good, boring questline, the character is fully made up and never appeared on the show, pricey & not voiced

- Whale
300 donuts for 7.0% multiplier, i can buy 10 jet bikes or whatever they're called for the same price and a 20% increase.

- Mount Carlmore
I mean c'mon.. It wont fit anywhere. Looks stupid and out of place

- Boardwalk performers & K9 officer
Waste, doesnt give you anything, just another braindead character running around your town, cant even tap the boardwalk performers!!

To be honest, just get your favorite characters and buildings you have been craving for the most (maybe frink,dr nick, barney, otto etc). If you cant decide on something do some research (tstoaddicts.com has some good premium item reviews) good luck deciding and have fun :)
  • I will never spend donuts on MT Carlmore, unfinished shed, rocket car, tire fire, whale (ridiculously priced), devil float, boardwalk performers, npcs or billboards. I did buy Bowlarama. I never knew it was once free.

You have pretty much named everything I plan on never buying, though I may decide on 1 boardwalk performer that I like that best. I've seen one neighbour with 5 or 6 whales which seems crazy to me but to each his own. Like others have said, I don't think I'll get the funzos, I'm definitely never getting Chester and the shed, and I highly doubt I'll ever get Mount Carlmore. The last thing I can think of that I'm pretty sure I won't get is the blue haired lawyer; I think he's funny on the show but I don't exactly need him in my town, so I'll probably pass on him. As far as Barney and the Bowlerama goes, I definitely plan on adding that to my town but can't help but think that Barney should have been a freemium character. Moe, Lenny, and Carl are freemium so I don't get why Barney isn't. Most of the freemium characters are characters that have been on the show a lot and have even been the central point of at least one episode whereas I feel the premium characters are mostly characters that make the occasional appearance here and there or are just seen briefly with a few funny lines in random episodes. Just a thought I've had for a while.
  • Being a super premium tapper myself (who spent nearly $1000 on TSTO), as well as a completionist, I bought everything.

But I tried not to buy the same premium item more twice, unless it's necessary for aesthetic reason.

The rocket car comes with Chester Lampwick so it's not like it's a 120 donut decoration- it's a premium decoration with a premium character so it's really two in one.
  • i have pretty much everything however for me i wouldn't spend donuts on an item like the Butterfly tent it's a premium item that only raises vanity

I'm in the same camp. This game is really my only entertainment/vice (sad, I know). I've purchased every premium since I started playing in September 2012. I have multiples as well, like three whales swimming in my ocean.

I tend to store all seasonal items (premium or not) and only place them during the holiday. I do keep a small Xmas area, and I have a small park area where I have at least one small special item from each event.
  • I guess I'm like lee and Heretic, I'm a super premium tapper and have spent a lot of money on this game. I keep a lot of inventory out but am having to put more into storage as I run out of space. I have everything so far and really don't regret a single purchase.

When you're done gasping let me tell you that I do like Barney a lot, I just can't justify something that was free being that much. Same reason I would never pay donuts for a lot of the re-released things that were free at some point.
    Even Shary Bobbins. *gasp*
Was it even possible to get Shary Bobbins without spending donuts?

I actually regard Shary Bobbins as the most premium character in the game. Pretty much unattainable to freemium players and to get her premium players paid a ridiculous amount of donuts. I have no idea what the average number of donuts spent to get her was; but, I would definitely pin it at >150.

I spent doughnuts during the event and never won her i complained loud enough and EA gave her to me. And when i said i spent it, it was well over $80
  • - Whale (dislike and overpriced)
    - Mount Carlmore (too big and doesn't tie in well)
    - Devil's float (dislike it)
    - Firewoks candy & puppies (dislike it)
    - Unfinished shed with Chester Dupree (purchased, but regret it)
    - Funzos (purchased, but regret it)
    - Film set (not a fan, if I had the space MAYBE I would buy it)
    - Tire fire (does not tie in well, if I had the space MAYBE I would buy it)

I like the entertainers, though a bit overpriced, they do bring a nice charm to my boardwalk. While Barney is expensive, I still would have bought him, but luckily I got him for free when he first came out. My only struggle is the constant remodeling, I have all the land but still lack space for everything.
