Question to KEM farmers
Just to make some math, what's your multiplier, how much donuts boxes do you win every 4 hours and how many Kems do you build? I'm curious :)

Yeah, that's really the only way to do it - and it can quickly build on itself once you hit a tipping point.
The way I've done it (and this worked for me because I was willing to sacrifice any pretense of design for a while to build up a stockpile of donuts - some people would definitely hate their town being a farm, but I decided to do it for a while):
I've played since almost the beginning, so I had a house ($$) farm for a long time building up cash and converting them slowly, buying up any items that could give me % and just before the airport event, I was right about where @daved7637397 sits - 600% and I had about 6K donuts saved up.
When the airport event hit and the flag bundles came up for sale again, I decided to just go for it and spent it all on flags, committing a large portion of Springfield Heights to flag country (goooo more land in SH!) which boosted me to just over 1500%. I quickly rebuilt the donuts I spent and then went crazy on the 6 donut bonus boxes after the airport event ended and pushed to 2200%-ish which is where I sit now and can generate 1000 donuts a day if I'm really bored and have built up to 16K donuts.
Like I say, you hit that tipping point eventually and it just explodes - I don't remember exactly when the airport event started, but all of that happened in about a 2 month window.
I was never really about being a 'freemium' player - I've spent a couple hundred bucks of my own money and/or money from those QuickThoughts surveys and it took a whole lot longer to get to the first 500% but there's no real magic to it, just keep building up and reinvesting and you'll get there.
