- i have 18 modern mansions, and those are the only ones i keep out just for the hidden bonus. had more at one point, but some of them disappeared when i stashed them in my inventory.
- I gave up on KEM farming. I realized I was spending a couple of hours a day for 400+ doughnuts.
Now I just log in three times a day for maybe five minutes for 180 doughnuts. 1200 multiplier. "jaddy1874;1591307" wrote:
KEM farming certainly isn't beneficial early on in the game because between lack of cash and small multiplier it's not cost effective to pay for the collider - although i suppose you could just do what you can afford without the collider. But once you've got a decent number of characters (or a decent house farm if that's your thing) and you're bringing in enough money to fund KEM farming then you should go for it.
I have to respectfully disagree with yyouon this point. Success/profit is relative to your position. A few months a bunch of us started new towns. I just hit level 100, have a multiplier of 79.5. I use the collider once a week or so, only 1 day at a time. I save money all week and blow all on my 1 day collider- KEM binge. Last week I went up about 45 levels. Now in my main town I can get 45 do uts every 4 hours but like I said its all relative. Yes its slow going and not nearly as profitable at lower levels, but I have to say it is far from not beneficial. It also depends on what you want to get out of it. If you are setting your sights too high that can be a problem too. I cant expect 45 donuts every 4 hours from my new town."daved7637397;1591429" wrote:

Hmm, for the lower initial cost of KEMs, you could build quite a few low level cycles. Depends on how active you are, I guess."wiedmannaj;1591474" wrote:

Like I said its all relative to where you are in the game, life, etc.- At the other end of things....
You need to track your spending on bonus box retries. It costs 50k on average per box to ensure 3 donuts payout, you need to watch out for the point at which it's cheaper to settle for 2 donuts or whatever first guess gets you. I.e. build more KEM instead of getting all three in one box.
Also, you will eventually get board trying to build sooooo many KEM and will probably switch to building rat trap trucks. It's less effective but the amount of time required for KEM farm grows huge when you're running 200 odd of them. Also I found that my game was lagging badly with that number. - I was at level 102 at one point when I started this, on level 173 at the moment because I build about 16 at a time, without a collider on, to slowly pick up my game as I go along, that gets me just under one level every fourth time (Current multiplier 135.65% + SH 153%).. so even on a bad run where I do one in a morning build more, collect at night and build more for next day I can level up every two days..
Not much, I know, but I feel like it's all a help
When I know I've got a free day to do it, I will hit the KEM hard and have a 1-day collider, anything more than 1-day I feel would be wasted, either because I won't be able to log in every day enough times to make it worth my while due to work or my money will be gone before the end of the 10 days as much as I have 80+ characters, at the moment, it seems like don't produce enough to get me through, even though I spend a lot of time giving them 60m tasks when I can, 4hr ones if I can get away with it at work, 8hr-12hr ones if I can't and 8hr when i'm in bed..
Once I am at a comfortable level though and have quite a cash base built up and coming along, then it could be time to go the quick way of rat trap trucks and/or bloodmobiles, even though I know it works out as less XP for my money..
Nice call on the bonuts though, when you get to a point where 100k could get you another round or two, then why waste them chasing a third doughnut when you got two on your first pick, i'll keep that in mind for when I finally reach 939.. - If you can KEM farm, go for it. I was doing rat traps for a while and I would get maybe 3 rounds of donuts every 4h. Now doing KEM farming, I get a minimum of 5 rounds every 4h. I've gone from maybe 45 donuts a day to over 60 with KEM farming. Highly recommended.

I was right where you are about a year or so and used essentially the same strategy as you. I didnt want to blaze my way to the top, just speed it up some. I still had quests and such to do. Long story short keep at it. You'll get there eventually. Took a while but now my multiplier is 508% and Im bringing in an average of 50 donuts a day, 75-100 if I really grind hard- a year....awww man.... may as well quit now...
Thanks for the pep talk though, i'm not in a rush yet, up to the level 47 quests and have to build something else as well, I tend to wait until I turn the collider on, build about three or four buildings that come up to help with the XP, then spend a couple of weeks clearing those tasks out of the book... I've got a week off coming up soon, so who knows, if I can save enough money in the meantime, I might give the collider a 7 or 10 day trial
