random tasks are back

Never fails for me as soon as I plant corn a random task pops up to plant something else. I ignore it for 3 months, but that doesn't stop other random tasks popping up. They are especially annoying during events and new quest lines because you can't guess ahead of time if they are part of the quest, so I click on them to my regret.

Yes, this works. An alternative is also to leave a few skins with tasks in your book so that the random tasks don't trigger. I have Tennis Marge and others in my task book that are just sitting there, as I don't plan to use that skin and keeping it at 3 active tasks seems to stop the random ones from appearing.

it's only randomizing the people I need for coffee and pills etc...

This has to be on purpose, I have 150 other characters with nothing important to to do but the game wants the new currency earners

Those are the people that are free. Or are your other 150 also free?

Plant corn, eventually you will get a random task to plant a crop. Since corn takes 90 days, that random task sits in the task book until you complete it. I haven't received an additional random task while the request to plant a crop is still there.

they are free on and off enough to get a random task.

This is what I wanted... you lucked out. I tried for months to get this random task to show up so I could leave it on it, and it never did...

yep one by one everybody on tasks in SH just has do get a random task. I'm up to about 8 in a row. Most have been one hour tasks, so I'm just sending them.

I'm with the corn growers so I don't get them. Quite strangely today my 9 tasks in my task bar all went away leaving only the one single random task. I got a lot of task completed boxes pop up in a row. I am not even halfway to upgrading all my buildings. But I like how I only have one task for a change. :)
