I didn't realize that was another thread. Oopsie! But thank you for pointing it out to me. Come to find out... one of the other forum members was visited by the SAME PERSON!! I was concerned before. But now I'm worried! That's a bizarre coincidence.
And the amount of days varies, depending on how long I've had them on my friends list. For instance, if someone sends me a request and I accept it, I'll immediately visit their town. I give them 36 hours to visit me. If they truly want to be on my list... prove it. It might sound harsh, but I play to win. Even in a 'non-win' game. It's all-in for me. (Except for days like this, when I'm sick as a dog and on sleepy meds. I can't help it.)
After the newbie status, it's between 2-5 days. But! It depends on how long I've been with that person. If they've been my friend from the get-go, and they visit regularly (doesn't have to be daily - every other day, when an event isn't going on, doesn't bother me), and I can visit their town... I'll give them up to 5 days. My main concern is visitation during events. That's when I scrutinize. I have to be able to visit daily. I don't care if I have to come back, if the town is unavailable, I just need to be able to visit everyday. And then again, I still look at how long we've been together. :)
@brickevand408 - were you asking ME to look at my PMs? I wasn't sure, but I looked anyway. I'm guessing it's not me, since I haven't received anything. But in case it is.. please resend it? :) (If it's not, don't worry... I can live through the embarrassment. )emymarek721 wrote:

Sure! I'd love to add you. I put a lot of effort into decorating my town. I don't place the buildings randomly, I give it a lot of thought. I look forward to seeing your town. Give me a few minutes and I'll add you.- @emymarek721
Nice town :D emymarek721 wrote:
Before I begin, let me just say that, yes, I suffer from TSTO OCD. I keep a list of my friends and mark down when they visit. If a certain amount of time passes with no visit, or if I can't visit them for a while, I clean house. It probably sounds bad, but if I can't visit their towns, than there's no FPs for me. HOWEVER, my list also tells me that, if they've been my friend for a long while and a few days pass by, I realize it's unusual and that something must be going on, and I don't touch their town. I don't want to lose them as friends. I really only look for those who make it a bad habit. Or for newbies who come in and then... nothing.
I mention this because, by keeping this list, I managed to find something unusual... a rogue handshake. I found a single handshake from someone who was NOT my friend, and who has never BEEN my friend. For a moment, I thought that someone might have dropped me as a friend and a new person might have moved in... someone that I've sent an invite to a while ago. (I've been sick for the past few days and haven't been on TSTO as often as I'd like. But I still visit my friends everyday, and clear my town at least twice. Still, I've been dropped by one or two. If they kept a record like I do, they'd realize that this isn't my normal self, and that I'm actually quite wonderful. So there! Nah!) Anyway, after flipping through the pages of my friends' towns, I can see that there was no such person.
I was also thinking that perhaps someone might've moved in, collected their FPs, and moved out. But if that's the case, why leave only one handshake? Why not three? I had plenty of dollar signs, menus, etc.
Should I be concerned about this? I still have the name, just in case. But I won't mention it here because it could've been a bizarre accident, and I'm not about to embarrass anyone, or cause unwarranted trouble. I just don't know what to make of this. It doesn't appear that anything else was touched - although I haven't gone over the town completely, yet. I'm one of those who goes by, "a place for everything, and everything in its place," so once I take a good look, I'll know. (That OCD thing, remember?)
Any thoughts? Has this happened to anyone else? I'm really confused by this. And concerned. (I mean, I should be concerned...right?) I've purchased a fair share of donuts, and I don't want to lose anything. But I certainly don't want to cause trouble for anyone, especially if this was just a freak thing.
Still... I'm watching you... :hunf:
I added you, you sound a lot like me with TSTO OCD.brickevand408 wrote:

Thank you! Your town is lovely. I can't wait to buy more land so I can work on my "ultimate remodel". But I'm going to wait until I've acquired all the land first. :)manduhsue wrote:
