Got in once now at a time when I think both US and UK are sleeping. Managed to play normally and also visited a couple of towns.

Wonderful! The more I read here, the more I think I'm in the minority with the amount of trouble I'm having. For the life of me I just can't figure out how a game that has been quite stable for 7 years all of a sudden has completely broken down :/

I've only been able to get into my game once or twice in the past month because of server issues/Bart screen. I have officially finally given up on this game. Very fun while it lasted (6 years for me).

It definitely appears that some people got a bit of relief from the crashing with this recent update; and meanwhile there's a few like @Jonalinn that are still plagued with the worst crashing conditions.

It would be interesting to see if there's any commonality, whether it's device type, user ID, origin ID, geog region, date of ID creation, or something else. Could be a magic combination of things we couldn't guess.

But i am pretty sure that it's nothing personal. I doubt they are targeting anyone, like putting bags of flaming poo on your doorstep.

It's much more like a stray dog just choosing to poo on your step.

Every day.

And you never see them do it.

Even though you watch constantly.

I do sympathize. I have stepped in much poo. It always stinks.

I was able to play the new event the first day and that’s all. I keep getting the bart screen. I’ve tried uninstalling, reinstalling. Nothing helps. I’m so over it.

@168sean168 Yep, done. No difference. This morning I got in no problems, played as normal, set jobs etc. Tried to get in just now and bart screened.

Honestly, I do not believe it is me or any device I'm playing on.

The server must have been only down for a couple hours.

I have already been on there for almost an hour (just got off there 15 mins ago after sending everyone on the 4 hour task). Although, the friends towns have vanished again. EA must be working on the server already.
