I've cleaned my device several times & uninstalled my unwanted apps along with STO. Reinstalled STO. Shut down Samsung tablet. Still can't get into STO to play the new challenge. Missing out on collecting donuts which are ready, etc. I've contacted EA & got a case number. While I'm waiting 72 hours for them to get back with me, does anyone have any suggestions how to get app from stopping? I've also sent EA feedback.

First try making more space on your device. Clean off 6-8 gbs of space and reboot device. It may download again and then be good. If on IOS, make sure the offload apps feature is turned off, clear your cache, clear history on safari and spotify if you use them and you may need 10 gb free or 10% of your total storage free. IOS lies about how much free space you have so clear off everything you can.If you have more than 6 gigs of space clear your cache, uninstall, reboot, reinstall, do not play while downloading Only do this if you have an account.Also reboot and disconnect from your internet equipment.

Thanks 11 EEvey. I have a Samsung Galaxy E. I cleared the cache which cleared for all apps & I have uninstalled all the apps that I can. I powered off my tablet. Tried to open STO, but app still stops.

Same problem here. This cant be on us. Too many ppl experiencing same problem. I have plenty of room and good connection. I can finally get the game to finish its reinstall, I login, but it wont continue. Game requires a force-quit. We prob have to wait for an update or maybe accept we've joined the abandoned. That group grows every day

This may finally be the event that allows me to quit the game. Sweet release after 3 maybe 4 years. Maybe more. There is no way it's my space or ram or anything. Works one minute then after update it doesn't work.

Simpson's Tapped Out app keeps stopping 12-8-21. Not able to get into game.

I am in the same boat. I gave up playing with my old device. Maybe they will fix this issue or maybe this is it for older devices. Although I am going to buy a new device next week is strange not playing in these days.

8:00pm I was finally able to get into STO with my Galaxy Tab E! I uninstalled STO once again, did Device Maintenance, restarted tablet, & reinstalled from Google Play.

Have not been able to get back in on my apple device since the first week of November. Was told I needed my game ID in order to see what's going on. I can only get the game ID while actually in the game.... So guess that's the end of this game for me. Have played from day one.

And you can't play on a different device because..? Is it a device issue or you can't get in on any device.

You probably have tried some of this, but here's what I did: I deleted Browsing History, cleared Cache, got rid of all the Apps and downloads I could, you should also get rid of Photos you don't want as they take up a lot of space, uninstalled Simpsons Tapped Out, restarted my Samsung Galaxy E tablet, reinstalled Simpson's Tapped Out (STO) (make sure you have an account, otherwise you will loose your information. Inotherwords, don't Play As Guest, if you want to keep your town and progress!) I did this several times adding one more step here and there as I thought, oh yah, I can deleted this app or that download. You'll probably have to free up space again when STO next event is offered.
