Seen a few people say they have the same issue..I haven't myself though.

I had that happen to me, too, about halfway through my friends list. I bought an Elite Licence, and that seemed to fix it. My theory is that if you hit the amount of snakes equal to (amount of friends) X 5, it'll stop you from collecting more. So if you have 100 friends, your limit is 500 snakes per day, if you have 50 friends, your limit is 250 snakes per day, etc, etc.Anyone else think that's it?

I'm in the same boat for the last couple of days. I submitted a ticket on the EA site and hoping they actually get back to me or fix this. It would definitely be appreciated if they compensated as well with extra days so we have a chance of finishing the event.

I also posted a support ticket, I was upset that there wasn't an Easter update, then was over the moon when I heard about whacking day, only to be disappointed again by this issue :(

Had this problem for 2 days now. I already had the elite license when this happened and I hate to buy it again. I will be happy to send a support ticket to EA. Would someone let me know how to do this?

Sigh. I'm without a whacking button when visiting neighbors' towns as well. Things were fine initially after the update last night. Today, however, I've lost my ability to whack abroad.

I should also say that not only is the snake button gone, but there is no sign of snakes in my neighbors' towns at all!

Needs a bump to put it back to front page. We all want our snake whacking abilities back.

Nice update but how about fixing the current problems instead of introducing a new batch of problems!!!

Want to be able to whack snakes in friends towns. Mathematically we are close to not being able to finish this without spending money. Give us back our batons!!!

Someone's pointed me in this direction as I have this problem too. How do they expect you to get upton 12500 to get miss springfield if you can't wack in neighbours towns? That might be the whole reason so you don't get Miss Springfield and she'll then be a premium item. Either way it's unfair and I'm really seriously thinking of quiting this game. Then remember the time and bit of money I've spent so am now holding on hoping they'll fix this.
