Timeouts gone?

This happened to me right at the end of the GA time of 5 pm for me. So, I just ran out of any time at all to attack because the results had to be tallied.

I had a similar experience awhile back. I think I was up against a GL Ray squad with Ben. I got the enemy squad down to just Ray and Jtr. With about three minutes left. I knew I wouldn't win and Ben was just respawning so I thought I would just time out so that I only had two Rays to contend with. Anyway, same message popped up for me. My tactics were a bit cheesy, so thought maybe CG put this in as a safe guard against this tactic.

I would be interested in knowing what is up with this message.

Usually I think that happens when your client is wuite delayed in sending data back to the server.
Eg if your screen turns off before you time out and you come back minutes later. Then your phone haven’t communicated to the server around battle end that it’s a timeout and then the battle will expire.
I’ve never seen this message due to poor connection but I’m fairly certain I’ve seen it in conquest when the above happened
