So it seems Legs & Louie is having the same issues

It seems it gets cancelled whenever you start whacking snakes. The Rich Texan suffers from this bug as well. I had to let the full 12 hrs go without whacking a snake to get him to complete his 2nd quest where he was riding the bull

Are we sure that whacking snakes causes these glitches in stopping those tasks..??

I didn't whack any snakes & the 1 hour tasks still didn't complete..?? :evil:

In my town its whacking eggs left by friends or moving anything in your springfield.
that cancels out the Texan riding the bull task. It appears to be
Safe to whack game generated snakes and collect cash and XP
from your town. My Texan is 5 hours in and still Riding. I had
Started him last night, he was still riding when I woke up then
I whacked a friends egg. That disrupted him. I started him again
And moved a building. He was off the bull again. Nothing else
I do seems to stop him but to be safe I'm staying out of nieghbors
Towns until he is done.

I think it's a problem with any newly released character that has an outdoor task

I thought this too, but the Texans 24 hr task is outdoors and always works, as do Legs and Louie's 12 hr tasks. The only 3 I've seen it happen with are the mechanical bull, the interrogate squealer, and the exercise for Mr. Burns.

I'm experiencing the same thing except I'm having a problem with Mr.Burns and Smithers 60 minute task for Smithers to exercise for Mr.Burns at first I thought it was because I was whacking snakes because it had seemed like that was the only thing making them stop until I wasn't whacking any snakes so they could finish the task then that's when I started realizing it couldn't just be because of snakes.... Does anyone know how to fix this or what's causing it??

It's just a glitch, it's happened with some tasks before. They'll patch it eventually with one of the next updates.

OK, it appears we do have a confirmed workaround for Legs, Louise, Smithers and Burns and the 1 hr cancel bug - make sure you have all your eggs cracked before you start the one hour tasks. Opening te eggs triggers the cancelation. Don't have Tex, so I cannot test against him, but that's the story.
