I had this happen and I took note of which friend it was when the crash happened. I wasn't able to get back into my friends at all after the crash. I then logged out of Origin and when I logged back in, it let me access the list of friends. When I went to delete the friend that it crashed on, I noticed that they had two Tapped Out logos in their profile. After I removed them and synchronized (went to my Springfield, then back to the friends area), I was able to get back in and access all of my friends (98 still left) again.
I noticed the double logo also.mellytanRight, I get it now. Well, my notifications are on so I know who visits me and won't that f-up the notification system as well?? I haven't seen anybody who has visited me twice in a day before (not that I noticed anyway). Most of my friends don't even have house farms.
O well, I won't rule it out but IMO it's a low possibility it would occur. [/quote wrote:
Well, for the past 36 hours I haven't been able to access me friends' towns. I ran the App Store update a few hours ago and still no access to any friends. I did get a glimpse of the friends list before the "can't acccess server" message pops up and the only friend there is the "Other Springfield". This points to a database error on the server. Nothing we can do on our end is truly going to make a difference. Some are lucky enough to access their friends, some, like me, can only play their own towns, and some can't even access their own towns. Hopefully, the data is secure and the problem will get fixed soon.
Melly, if you end up setting up a new town under a new name, let me know. I'll be glad to add you (if I ever get access to my friends list again).
