- Never had any crashing issues except when visiting neighbors with too many decorations.
My Springfield has every building (including every premium) and everything is decorated, but I've gone easy on the trees and plants and not built up any 3D hills or done any labyrinths. Still have quite a bit of property to buy, but see no need to buy more until more buildings become available in future updates.
I think most crashy towns are crashing because of player over-decorating enthusiasm rather than an inherent bug in the game.
Moderation has its virtues. I started playing before Halloween, and just completed my Smithers tasks today, so progressing at a pace and not over-doing it seems to be a winning formula. - Hey Joey welcome back  , your town look pretty neat, I like that your cemitaries are out of side, those are thing I want at my town too,
- How many decorations/houses did you actually remove from your springfield?
- I collect and assign tasks in sections of my town and break it up by visiting neighbors every couple of minutes. I don't crash if I do it this way and I didn't have to remove anything from my town.

Now he's never coming back.- For some reason I expected to see a giant screenshot with just the Simpsons house in the middle.
- Exact numbers are difficult to say. I had about 130 of each type of tree, give or take. About 60-80 of each type if flowers. 70 chain link fences and 40 barbed wire fences. About 15 of each type of house. 50 stop signs, 80 lamp posts. 70 or so large hedges. I never had any 3D stuff or hedge mazes. It was just well decorated, not over the top.
EVERYTHING was removed. Nothing left but a 13 x 13 blanket of snow populated by a lonely Simpson house and a lemon tree.
I have put back most of that stuff back. Like I said earlier, I reduced the trees by about a third. I reduced flowers by half. Fences by a third. Hedges by a half. I will try to be more accurate when I get back on the iPad. (On iPhone now).
I am going to try to figure out a threshold for these decorations until the game becomes unstable. But seriously my game has not crashed once and I have tried to get it to crash. I tap all the characters who have finished tasks and collect from all the buildings as fast as I can.
No crashing. joeyransdell wrote:

I checked your town out. Not too bad at all, I like your town square and all in all looks good. I see you still have quite a bit to do. I'm sure your happy to not be crashing anymore.
I did a large rearrange for stability purposes as well. I still crash some, but I can now at least set all characters on jobs. I'm certainly more stable overall. I shrunk my ghetto, removed some fencing and other decorations. Expanded my lake. My town is still very ornate, crazy to think if I could have things my way it would be even more so.
Can you check my town out without crashing? I still wonder if my town gives other people issues. I just can't scale it back anymore than I feel I already have.
Still crashed but it as wasn't immediate. And I was scrolling around fast n' furious with reckless abandon. Town is lookin' good though man.
