I agree with this to a point. The point of having neighbors is so they can help you with tasks and the game will only let them help with a specific number of things.

I really don't understand the issue of someone tapping something that was ready to harvest. I'd be happy if all my neighbors tapped things.

Man all this corn talk is turning into a drama. "The mystery continues. Who exactly tapped the corn? Well the criminal mastermind behind it all comes clean in next weeks episode of CSI: Corn Scene Investigation."

You either have corn or you have happy tapping friends.... don't expect to have your cake and eat it too.

I too was afraid of not being able to tap my first corn harvest, but by the luck of Samhain, it came to fruition during the THOH event, and was immune to tap-happy Finger In The Sky. I've seen corn ready to pluck in a few Neighbor's towns and did not tap it... with the unfortunate too-fast tapping one time (sorry Neighborino).

The first time I grew corn, I knew I would have been really angry if someone tapped it. It's stupid, but it was about accomplishing it, not the money, and accomplishing it meant seeing it through all its stages. I've grown it since and am growing it now, so if it gets tapped now? I'd be mildly irritated, but at least I've gotten to see it through to the end a couple times.

Tapping corn doesn't affect anything. But it keeps it from going bad. Once bad only someone tapping can fix it. I hope you tapped it now.

If I didn't read this thread I would have had no idea that tapping corn was not acceptable. It's unreasonable to expect everyone to know this or to get mad at someone for tapping something in a tapping game.

Most times I've see. This happen because we needed the farm to grow a specific plant for the event

Aren't friend visits mutually beneficial? In my view this means both parties should be courteous.
