- Ahhh it's the simpsons, grab a duff and crack a smile ;)
- The gorilla boogie shake is oddly hypnotic and slightly disturbing. Thank you...I think :D Can't stop watching...
- Half of the country agrees with the tea party? Maybe we do need to apologize...
- The Simpsons have a history of making fun of everyone,in the early years they bashed the left quite a bit. I myself lean to the right, but I found this very funny. I thought the rich Texan was funny as well. If we can't poke fun at ourselves then all hope is gone.
We have the freedoms in this country to poke fun at ourselves, and that is great. We don't kneel to kings and queens nor do we blindly follow politicians who hide behind our flag.
Take the game for what it is,fun, just like the show.
I love this country, much like I love all of our friends across the pond,we are you after all.
To anyone upset about it,relax and enjoy the fun.
I wil quote Stan marsh. " America isn't perfect ,we have made mistakes, but it's our team, and if you don't want to root for the home team, get the f out of the stadium.
Happy independence day. carpenterbee wrote:
Of course it's political. The writers are clearly on the left-wing fringe of American politics and aren't shy about lecturing players with their ill-informed rants. With the Rich Texan storyline, they insulted the half of the country that agrees with the Tea Party principles of freedom and liberty. Then the Herman story insipidly harangued the vast majority of Americans who understand the importance of the Second Amendment. Now, apparently, they're apologizing to the world on behalf of ALL Americans. On the Fourth of July, no less!
Through these leftist rants, the writers have provided great examples of the arrogance, ignorance and hypocrisy of the liberal mindset. Unfortunately, many young players don't have the life experience to see it yet, so they will fall in line with the idiocy.
I'll continue to play this game for free, but I have bought my last donut. I'm just not going to support something that spreads stupidity like this.
Do you really think they thought about it that much? Or just thought it would be a good laugh as a story line/charactercarpenterbee wrote:
