Sound Glitches

I've had this problem since the winter update dropped.

Yup back in full force, just like before. Play without sound again. Hate it :(

Just turn it up for mr sparkle right now

Hard closing the app clears it up for me.

Wish that worked for me, but it doesn't. Like I said, I've had it since the winter update (first week of December, 2016). I still have it over 2 months later :|

Sometimes sound issues resolve themselves during the course of game play on my device (iPad Pro). In other cases I have to hard close the app. Frankly this game has been plagued by sound issues of one sort or another almost from Day One.

Also had it occassionally since the winter update, less so for Destination Springfield. But closing and re-opening always works for me. Very annoying when trying to find Maggie

Bit of a hijack here. I occasionally find myself in situations where it’s more politic to play the game sans sound. I’ve now played the Maggie game long enough so that I can quickly survey each of the possible buildings where she might be located. The “trick” I’ve learned is to quickly tap each of those buildings rather than relying on either sound or a close visual inspection. Not all that clever, really, but since adopting that approach I’ve yet to be unsuccessful in locating her.

I have had the sound glitch for awhile now but even when the game played correctly, I could tell the game noises kind of bothered my hubby (especially at night).

Yes I do the same thing, since I usually play the game in mute mode. I have also organized my town so that Maggie-buildings are in clusters so I can mash a screen in one area and if she is not there I move on the next zone. Not 100% foolproof, but as you and @Jonalinn have mentioned, there are times where having Maggie's sucking sound (and the more jarring countdown that precedes it) is not welcome!

This has been happening since the pagan event started
